Grand Canyon Area Tours and Activities:

• HELICOPTER TOURS
The breathtaking helicopter flights leave from the GC airport daily (a two minute drive from the hotel).  There are two choices of helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon to choose from:

A 45-50 minute helicopter ride over the entire Grand Canyon is a once in a lifetime spectacular experience.  On this flight you will fly over the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine Forest to the eastern end of the canyon and north over the East Rim where there are amazing views of the Painted Desert and the Desert View Watchtower.  From here you will follow the Colorado River upstream to its merging with the Little Colorado River and then above the North Rim back though the Dragon Corridor, the widest and deepest part of the canyon.
 A 25-30 minute flight north over the canyon and Colorado River though the Dragon Corridor (the deepest part of the canyon) toward the North Rim and back.

• AIRPLANE TOUR
For over seven decades, this exciting tour has put millions of visitors in the front row seat to view this natural wonder of the world.  See the famous “Confluence” where the Colorado River and Little Colorado River join and experience the ever-changing incredible colors and shadows of the canyon from above.  This tour is approximately 40-50 minutes in duration.

• GRAND CANYON GUIDED TOURS
There are a number of day tours of the Grand Canyon.  From 4 hours to 6 hours to 8 hour tours with more in depth stops and viewing based on the time of the tours.  All the tours pick up in 12 person vans (include beverages throughout the tour) and the longer ones include lunch.  They pick up directly at the hotel.  Geology, wildlife, native people, and nature are discussed in depth.
Sit back and relax on any of these outstanding tours!

• SMOOTHWATER FLOAT TRIP DOWN THE COLORADO RIVER (Full Day)
There is an outstanding tour that departs the Grand Canyon Airport (less than 1 mile from the hotel) at 6:00 am with a beautiful air tour of the Grand Canyon, Colorado River, and Lake Powell landing in Page, AZ where breakfast is served.  A Native American guide picks you up for a spectacular visit to Antelope Canyon.  You are then transported to the bottom of Glen Canyon Dam where you begin the relaxing and picturesque 15 mile float down the Colorado River (Smooth Water) where you will stop to view ancient petroglyphs. A bistro boxed lunch and beverages all day is included.  This tour is a full day returning around 6:30pm.

• WHITE WATER MULTI-DAY RAFTING EXPEDITIONS (Multi-Day only)
Rediscover that adventurous someone inside of you.  All white water rafting trips along the Colorado River are multi-day trips starting at 3.5 days and up.

The Sunset Jeep tour is a wonderful option to enjoy wildlife viewing as you travel through the Kaibab National Forest to the Grandview vista point to enjoy the stunning Grand Canyon sunset.  Also enjoy an afternoon visiting Ancient Indian Rock art.
